July 12 - News has been confirmed that Casino Rewards, the Microgaming powered group of online casino sites, has made a substantial purchase of at least seven new brands.
It was only recently that Casino Rewards announced that it had acquired Villento Casino and Rich Reels Casino, two popular Microgaming sites.
The latest news is that Casino Rewards has acquired the seven brands that make up the Mini Vegas group.
The casinos that form part of this group are: Grand Hotel Casino, Luxury Casino, Vegas Joker Casino, Colosseum Casino, Vegas Country Casino, Vegas 7 Casino and Vegas Slot Casino.
This now means that the Casino Rewards group owns around one third of the active Microgaming casino sites in the industry. There is no indication that the group is on the lookout to purchase more sites, although this can only be confirmed over time.
No official announcement regarding the acquisitions was forthcoming from either groups involved in the deal, although affiliates for the Casino Rewards brands have been informed of the change.
In addition, the seven online casinos now carry the Casino Rewards link, stating that they are part of the program, although they continue to retain their own logos.
Reputable Sites
The Casino Rewards group has a reputation of providing top notch sites to the industry and it is therefore believed that the seven new acquisitions are for sites that have a good reputation themselves.
All seven Mini Vegas sites carry the industry watchdog, eCOGRA's Seal of Approval and are popular in their own markets.
In addition, the Mini Vegas brand is licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, which requires a certain level of fair gaming and transparency.
It is not known how much Casino Rewards paid for the new sites that now form part of the group.
